Bringing a little more heart to Herts

The challenge

Hertfordshire County Council wanted to build their reputation as a local employer. When they needed two different videos for two very different recruitment campaigns, I stepped into the role of Director and put a talented crew together. Herts were prepared to trust me to deliver something a little different, so I had the freedom to make their campaign videos a little more cinematic.

The solution

To promote Herts’ Family Safeguarding roles, we cast a robot, a monster, dinosaur, a knight, a teddy, a dolly and a boy called Albie to portray a small story about a big issue. To position Herts as an employ that offers opportunity to people from all walks of life, we captured a range of people moving through different Herts locations, sharing the same monologue.
