CyberMentor PLUS Video

On behalf of Media Trust

Letting authenticity tell the real story

The challenge

One in six school-aged children experience online bullying (according to WHO, the World Health Organization). But Greenford High School had a plan. They were piloting a powerful new initiative called ‘CyberMentorPLUS’, and it was already bringing incredible results. So when Media Trust asked me to make a video that would promote the programme, I didn’t hesitate.

The solution

The client favoured a dramatisation: a fictional ‘day in the life’ film about a student being bullied online. But I proposed something different. I wanted to put the words of the CyberMentors front and centre, creating a distinctive look and feel that reflected their language. The budget was super tight so I took on a Producer/Director/Editor role for this brief.
