Making a dreamy film for an ethereal track
The challenge
Nothing beats a sea breeze and a good beat. So when Kent-based singer/songwriter Poggy asked me to create a music video by the ocean for her new track, I couldn’t say no. We were nearing the autumn equinox and losing light, but I knew this was a nice opportunity to make something good.
The solution
I wanted to capture the nostalgia of the last golden hues of summer. The beautiful setting of Poggy’s home, her voice and connection to the natural world became our palette. The budget was tiny but the love was big, so I was Producer/Director/Editor on this one.
